Wanted to let you know about a new retro night I'm starting Oct 4th (Thursday) down in Ferndale . It's going to be at New Way Bar (see below for directions). It's a cool space for this kind of night. It's intimate. It's old school. It's on woodward! I'd REALLY appreciate if you'd help me pack the place out and start the night off with a bang! We've set this up so quick that we don't even have a flyer designed yet! I just wanted to give you the heads up so you can mark your calendar. Thanks in advance for the support. Scary Guy Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 oh my god i just died of happiness. Yeah, unfortunately I might have to wait till after the halloween season to go. Also it just HAD to be on a Thursday, when there are like three other regular nights i could go to (one in particular).
jane dazzle Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I wish there was a place that would play this music every single night or at least the weekends. It sounds perfect except that I work Thursdays but the next thursday I happen to get off, I will defintly be in attendance!!
Davo Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 thanks for posting this, dave. here's the initial (old school) flyer announcing the day: if any of you retro fans want to spread the word, I'd really appreciate it! -Davo
