I've noticed a pattern.. whenever the media covers something worthless like this, ie Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, OJ, spoild bratty attention whores that get attention from people for no other reason than lethal stupidity on the population's part is when the government is doing something extremely shady and quite possibly setting up against us or fucking legislation up to take away the rights..

worthless shit has been covered when they did the following...

put a bunch of reservists at DC to be there against the protesters (who may be flooding the area sooner or later)

for the patriot acts..

for the bullshit in iran.. and no, Iran has no nukes, just like iraq had no WMD's... fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me... and if anyone still belives that it was honestly over WMD's... visit your mother, she needs to slap the ever loving fucking shit out of you.

Yeah Yeah, OJ shoulda been thrown in jail a long time ago, and he is a sleazy worm.. however you forget one thing, you can see it in his face when the news reporters are rushing him.. you can see that glow in his expressions.. he's feeding off the attention.. ignore him.. that's the worst you can do to these people is ignore them. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Public Information Office, O.J. Simpson was arrested at his Palms Casino hotel room in connection with the alleged armed robbery of Alfred Beardsley in his Palace Casino hotel room last Thursday. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. Public Information Office press release says that Simpson is being charged with robbery with a deadly weapon (2 counts), assault with a deadly weapon (2 counts), conspiracy to commit a crime, and burglary with a firearm. The press release goes on to say that Detectives are still looking for other suspects in this case: Clarence Stewart (Black Male Adult) 53 years old, resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Michael McClinton (Black Male Adult) 49 years old, resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Tom Scotto (White Male Adult) Unknown age and residence. And one other unidentified White Male Adult.

According to Captain James Dillon of the Las Vegas Police Dept., "he (Simpson) was very cooperative and there were no issues" associated with the arrest. The lead investigator and arresting Detective, Lt. Clint Nichols said upon his arrest, Simpson immediately invoked his right to an attorney. He went on to say that the decision to move in and arrest Simpson came after the investigation into the robbery produced corroborating evidence that definitively implicated Simpson as being involved with the robbery.

Clark County District Attorney David Roger said that his office is moving forward with charges against Simpson, including two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, coercion, conspiracy to commit robbery, and burglary with a deadly weapon. All of these charges are felonies. Roger went on to say that "he is facing a lot of time."

Also arrested, prior to Simpson's arrest, was Walter Alexander. He was arrested on Saturday night for two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, and burglary with a deadly weapon.

Simpson has been in contact with police ever since Beardsley called the police to report he had been robbed of the memorabilia. When the story first broke Beardsley said to the press that a group of men broke into the hotel room he was staying in, and the last one through the door was Simpson. He said that when Simpson entered the room and their eyes met, they immediately recognized each other because they had been friends for many years, going way back. Beardsley said that he had to report the memorabilia stolen because if he didn't he would be held responsible for it going missing.

All in all, the items that were taken included pictures that Nicole Brown-Simpson allegedly snapped, Simpson's Hall of Fame certificate, a picture of Simpson with J. Edgar Hoover, and other sports souvenirs and items that Simpson claims was stolen from him years ago. The items together were valued at approximately $80,000.
