Jon's all for you doing the belt replacement.

I read Googly that there are some problems with the tensioner on this model. Hm...

I don't suppose you do timing belt replacements? :wink

Wheel bearings don't make much noise when they're going bad except in turns. You can usually tell which one because they get noisy when loaded. (Outside corner) Something that sounds like tire noise plus pulling? It might just need an alignment. Have you rotated your tires? If you leave them in one place too long they'll start to wear a particular way and can sometimes get noisy. Tough to tell without hearing/driving it.

thank you gentlemen!!!

well I do know for a fact that I need an alignment - last year one of my tires (the side thats pulling a bit) wore down on the backside at an angle. Havent been able to afforred an alignemtn but tires on my rubber band car are cheap so I went that route....it does sound like tire noise - I looked at them and could not identify anything but Im no mechanic - not even sure what I was looking for

Get one and we'll do it. $50 and you pay for drinks the next time we're at CC on the same night. It has to happen over the next month. I'm not doing anything that involved when it's cold out.
