You said that Korea was the only country that tryed to attack us, and we didn't retaliate. I linked you to material about Iran's continued attacks on the troops in Iraq and Astan. So it was plenty relevant to what you said.

I am not talking about myself or my service in the political threads anymore. I will scan in my 214 and that will quell any rumors.

small detail... they aint hitting us on our own soil. But you know, I'm not trying to defend them, but if you were pushed around and manipulated for a few decades as the US has been doing over there... you'd be trying to retaliate too.

I don't belive we should have ever attacked Iraq, so it's extremely hard to try to convince me that somehow our shit isn't just as stinky as theirs.

And you don't need to scan a DD214, it's so effing easy to shoop one of those..

What you COULD DO..

Since I have a MoL account still... send me a private message of your real name.. but i asked last time and you refused to do such thing. Also Fierce Critter, calling my recruiter to get to the bottom of this personally.

As for you machine, you admitted yourself that you didn't go anywhere or do anyting on DCC (even if you are in the army) in iraq. Don't forget I was there too... across the borders before the official invasion, and well after the war was "officially over" and even on my time back to stateside, i kept in touch and heard what was going on there from people in my squadron that were still over there. And well... I really find it hard to belive you're like this if you actually seen what it was like over there..

As for everything else - I think there needs to be a bit more moderator intervention in this thread. I'm not getting involved because there's already the typical "you conservatives want to suck Bush's cock" and "you liberals want to suck Iranian cock" going on, and it makes me sick.

there is moderator intervention going on... see?

I can't believe there's still fucking democrats/liberals wanting to fucking play Ring Around the Rosie with Ahmadinejad and invite him to have tea or something  Wheeeeww...all that laughing at people's ignorance wears me the fuck out.

in short... People who don't know jack about the military really should not try to discredit someone who has served.

The major discrediting of Machine's supposed service was coming from people who either had served or are serving in the military currently, many of which claimed to have consulted their superiors on the subject.

Just relating what I read. I don't personally care, except for I don't like it when people BS to prove a point. Is he BS'ing? I don't know. But I'm not exactly the first person to bring this up.

Well, I know when I moderated, I tended to restrain myself from some of my more stronger feelings on certain subjects. Part of my reason for quitting modding was because I wanted more free license to truly speak my mind.

It was never a set rule that Moderators do so. But I thought it was the better way to comport myself as a guiding force on DGN.

Like I said - it's not a rule. I guess it's up to the individual to decide what they can and can't say, regardless of their position.

Know... read up a bit more on NK and their "negotiating" tactics. They have always done something extremly provacative and many times just plain stupid and then demanded that the world give them what ever it is they need.

They used to kidnap business men from Japan and demand ransoms to fund thier government. They fired a missle over Japan the last time they wanted attention from the world. Diplomacy with NK is odd at best. Normal things dont work. They don't do "normal" things. I mean... this whole nuke thing... they dont want nukes.

They want Fuel Oil and they want it for free.

China wont give it to them, Japan wont, SK wont and neither will we.

So, thier repsonse.. "Fine, we will build a bomb."

World response "What if we give you X million barrels of fuel oil a year and you dont build the bomb."

NK "Sure."

6 months later they need more fuel oil... so it starts over... year after year fater year... demand after demand...

They need to stop spending thier whole damn national product on thir military. They need to feed thier damn people and play nice with the world.

And just a reminder to you all.. WE HAVE NO INTELLIGENCE IN IRAN. Remember Joe Wilson everyone? Sure you don't... He was one of the head inspectors for Iraq's WMD's before the war started... I've posted the source here before but he told Bush that there's not anything of the sort in Iraq. So what did Cheney and Bush do about this? Oh yeah that's right, they went and spilled the beans about how his wife is in the CIA...

Oh and that's right... she was a player in a delecate network over there that literally collapsed as soon as she was outed, because then they knew that her team members must also be CIA agents... leaving us with shit for intelligence over in there. So now we have no one over there to tell us there's no nukes aside from the media spin from the same media organizations that spoon fed us that horse shit about Iraq having WMD's... jeez people, haven't you learned your lessons yet? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...

Valerie Plame was not an active undercover agent when she was 'outed' and none of her team members were outed by the insinuation either. Hate to shatter your world view, but that's the simple fact of the matter.

ok let me break this down barney style for you.... try to follow along here...

Now that she's a known CIA agent, every mission and everyone she came across now knows this... so now they have a damn good idea that anyone she's been associated with could be a CIA agent too....

I hate to burst your bubble there.. but it's not as simple as you think it is.. try using some common sense eh?

Whats so complicated? She had not been covert for 7 years at the time she was outed. Thats two years past the point that her status was no longer classified. Thats why no other charges were made in the case. The only law that was broken was one case of perjury by Libby. This whole thing was a non-issue that was blown out of proportion for political reasons. If she was in anyway still connected to field agents that wee put at risk someone would have thrown a fit and charges would have been filed.

Common sense dictates that it is impossible to 'out' someone whose identity is not classified. Make sense to you?

it wasn't classified because bush declassified it... i saw it on the freakin news when it happened... but now there's a face to her real name that's all over the world, so now everyone knows that face is the cia.. debate this all you like kid, but outing of a CIA agent is really a stupid thing to do. And why was she singled out hmm?

Bush, as President, can declassify just about anything he wants to, but thats beside the real issue. According to all Federal laws and rules of the CIA she was not covert in any way so she was not "outed". he identity was not a secret.
