Since Reaper's party is on the same day, I'm sure there'll be a good CC turnout later that night (unless we all party into the wee hours of the morning :laugh: ) Either way, come out, here's the info:

DGN @ City Club, Saturday, September 29th

Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really.

Leland City Club

400 Bagley Street

Downtown Detroit

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

(The map isn't quite exact. The Ramada is located within the Bagley, 1st, Cass, Plaza Dr. block.)

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and white couch there, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

If your NOT going this isnt the place to post.

If your going (or likely going) to CITY CLUB ON SATURDAY this is where you let us know and we encourage you to do so.

If you want talk about some other club, going to LCC on some other night, some other place or some other subject? Make a new thread, don't post about it in this one.

More than likely,wonder how many beer bottles might accidently fall,and break.

other than that I was going to have my older sister and niece come,since they have never been there before, but

due to some people that go to CC not gonna happen.

I have not been there in quite some time. I was talking to this guy I work with that is a regular there about this weekend. This renewed interest in this forum is really making me want to check out cc again. So looks like I am in.

I'll be signing autographs/breasts near the golden tee machine.

I am sorry to tell you my good sir....they got rid of that arcade machine. Let it R.I.P. Although if I show up I'll ask for your autograph while standing next to the sexy new couches.

As for me, it's a possiblity, anything is possible. Only because I already will have been at Reaper's Party so it depends on if I'm still there, how much money I have left, and how many drinks I had lol.

We shall see....we shall see.

and then head to CC afterwards.

I don't sign autographs,

but as this is my second time meeting several DGNers

(Marblez' Red Apple Karaoke was the first)--feel free to

ignore me and hope I shut the f%$& up soon, like most people do after I meet them :welcome:

Planning on it, but I've also been planning on going for the past few weekends. Unfortunately, I've been getting sent to Blissfield most Sunday mornings. If I'm working local, or off Sunday, I'll be there.

OMFG....*sits back and waits for the epicocity* I better be able to go now...I mean it's not like I have to pay for drinks at the barbeque (my mom has some vodka she's willing to part with) so at CC I would only have to pay cover and buy maybe like a drink/pitcher whatev. I can also try to breakdance for monies...'cause I'm a hustla baaaby...I just wantcha to know...DAMNIT...now I have Jay Z stuck in my head and it's all your guys' fault. Not that I have ever listened to Jay Z....nope....not me... :blink:

      I know the feeling! So get this, when I was stuck in ABQ I decided to re-activate my phone. Now, for years I have been running a Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot for wifi instead of paying for actual phone service, because I get more data for 50 bucks on the wifi plan than I would get for the same price for my phone plan, and I don't call anybody very often if ever, so it only made sense. Well while I was in ABQ I got desperate and decided I needed to make some phone calls so I walked down to Walmart to get a  45 dollar plan for my phone, only to realize that I had to walk back to walmart again (4 miles one way) to get a new Sim card, because the one I had was too old, apparently...  Anyway, literally the second I reactivate my phone - I got a phone call from a frickin' debt collector!  I mean it was so instantaneous that I assimed it was Straight Talk calling to confirm my activation or something - instead it was somebody with a foreign accent that I could barely understand, asking for whoever the person was that previously had the phone number I had just been assigned. . . I was so irritated with this fact.    And yeah now I'm getting multiple calls, daily, from everybody and their brother, looking for whoever the person was that used to have this number.  Wells Fargo, AT&T, etc etc.    I think there needs to be some better way of doing this. Recycling phone numbers as fast as we do this day & age isn't working out very well. 🤷

      I have no idea why I'm even on all of these call lists that are on Robo-Dial by A.I.  One is a female voice and the other is a male voice and all they did was change the name that they give you.  I did get put through to a few live people to try to ask them to remove me from their list, but they, the telemarketer, hung up on me.   It's like I'm living "Telemarketers Revenge" for all the years of people handing up on them.   I always spoke with the telemarketer and then wished them a good day before hanging up.  And this is what I get for all of my decades of kindness.  I don't think I deserve this, but the World has lost a lot of the niceties that it used to have when I was growing up.  And no...COVID did not cause this.  I'm also getting tired of that excuse.  Its been 6 years!  People felt they were given the Green Light to be anti-social and rude to your face and now it is part of society just like everything else Mainstream adopts and considers it a cultural add-on.   I just hope I can survive this onslaught of calls blowing up my phone until it dies down.  Else, I will place a block on my number and only allow calls from family, friends and medical associated with my job.

      This is crazy.   I had to mute my phone because I am getting 50+ calls a day regarding Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Burial Benefits, a Senior Food Expense Card, a Senior Social Security monthly reimbursement benefit, etc., and I don't qualify for any of it.  I don't even meet the age requirement.   At current, I have 53 missed calls and 38 of them were from yesterday.
