we celebrated Sat nite....me and Lola and some friends and Jadis and Pharoh all went to a comedy club and laughed till we pee'd our pants. The guy had this great schtick about what you go thru when you drink too much and your puking...he acted it out wonderfully.

then we went to Chatters to watch The Ride do thier show. People started buying shots. Pharoh told me to man up and kept buying me jaegar bombs. Dinky kept briging me Nazi Tacos (mix of Jager and Cuervo - Satans drinks) then I had some beers, and some jack and some jack and coke, and some beers, and some shots. Then apparently I was a little buzzed. My band (Power Source) was there in the audience. I started talking drunk smack about how we should storm the stage (FUK THE RIDE - all sloppy style) and take their instruments and take over. Somehow they thought it was a good idea to call us up. We did a few songs. I dont remember one of them. then later on they started doing Zepplin's "Immagrent Song"....somehow the mic ended up in my hand I ended up onstage again. Fun times.

I remember my last drink of the evening. This girl Denise who I know from the scene wanted to buy me a drink. I told her I was too plastered and needed just a coke. She goes "fuck that Rod Stewert" (her nickname for me) and brings me a jack and coke.

and that was all she wrote......fucking Jack Daniels. Pharoh told me to man up. but soon I was to be man down.

Later on that evening as I was laying on the bathroom floor after having just heaved my guts up that comedian's routine about drinking too much came to mind. He must have been psychic, or a prophet. Another thought came to mind..."I'm 41 now. Do I REALLY need all of this drunken excitement? I think not. Will I be apologizing to anybody tommorow? Hmm....maybe so. Should I have stopped at White Castle on the way home? Absolutley..."

Next September I'm drinking verners.
