have no clue really where to put this.

"To all promoters, bands, and patrons.

Many of you are familiar with Beth and Ron of CB Entertainment, from the Ritz.

It is with great heartache that I must inform you that their 12 year old son passed

away early Saturday (Sept 29th) morning, due to a terrible car accident.

Please, stop by their Myspace from the Ritz and pay your respects.

Further information, as in a benefit show, etc, will be posted as it is

released.

Thank you,

David Szilagyi

Godfallen Promotions"

like I said, troy...not a clue where to put it...if you would please be so kind as to place it where it would fit....

Current events would have been a more appropriate place I think, but ok.

Also yeah that blows. Maybe I'll hit The Ritz before I make my way to the New Way on Thursday.

Thank you for picking a spot, Troy.

please...Everyone, either try to attend or help in any way possible.

this has come down my wire, so I am giving it out to everyone here

"hank You all for your prayers, support and willingness to make the benefit for Vincent Ocelnik a huge success. It recently came to our attention that a benefit named Jammin for Jacob is being held at the Bull Frog. We do not want to take any attention away from that night as it is an important event. We also have decided that we will need more time to completely organize our event so we can do the best benefit we can possibly do to honor Vincent and it is also closer to his Birthday which is Nov. 11th. Please repost this as it contains the most current info as of 11:30PM Monday. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW DATE FOR THE BENEFIT IS NOVEMBER 3rd (SAT)!!! Thank you all so much for everything!

On Sept. 28th Beth and Ron Ocelnik of CB Entertainment suffered the loss of their 12 year old son Vincent. They were producing a show that night when "Vinnie" decided to take his brothers car for a quick joy ride before his parents would arrive home. He made it only about fifteen houses down before he struck a tree and was rushed to the hospitol. His injuries were to extensive and he died shortly after.

A benefit for the family is being held Sat. Nov. 3 at The Ritz in Warren (where Beth is the booking agent) in his memory. The proceeds will go to the family to help with the costs of the funeral.

I am asking for donations of signed guitars. merch, music memorbilia and anything else of value. Please join in and help us raise some money for the wonderful family. Beth is a large part of the Motor City's music scene. And the loss of their son has hit them hard as you can imagine.

Please send all donations to:

Nicole Bergsma

You can contact me @ 248-467-4069

We have a very small amount of time to bring this all together. So if you plan on donating an item or items please send quickly. Thankyou to all for your prayers, support and kind words.

Nicole Bergsma"

Again, whatever donation you can provide would be of a great help. I know the economy sucks right now, but I also know there are ALOT of great people here, both parents and non-parents, that more then sympathize for the family. Even if you cannot provide donations, please, send your prayers and hope your way.

Also...I want everyone to know that the date has been pushed back to give more time for the event.

The biggest help I need right now with this event is this: I need a guitar...pure donation...good shape...asap.

that faster I can get my hands on one, the faster i can get almost every band coming through harpos to sign it for this event.

please...keep your eyes open.

Wow...that's horrible. I remember hearing that on the news...I had no idea that it was them though. I'll try to see if I can help, I'm literally in severe debt but I can try...

I know the feeling! So get this, when I was stuck in ABQ I decided to re-activate my phone. Now, for years I have been running a Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot for wifi instead of paying for actual phone service, because I get more data for 50 bucks on the wifi plan than I would get for the same price for my phone plan, and I don't call anybody very often if ever, so it only made sense. Well while I was in ABQ I got desperate and decided I needed to make some phone calls so I walked down to Walmart to get a  45 dollar plan for my phone, only to realize that I had to walk back to walmart again (4 miles one way) to get a new Sim card, because the one I had was too old, apparently...  Anyway, literally the second I reactivate my phone - I got a phone call from a frickin' debt collector!  I mean it was so instantaneous that I assimed it was Straight Talk calling to confirm my activation or something - instead it was somebody with a foreign accent that I could barely understand, asking for whoever the person was that previously had the phone number I had just been assigned. . . I was so irritated with this fact.    And yeah now I'm getting multiple calls, daily, from everybody and their brother, looking for whoever the person was that used to have this number.  Wells Fargo, AT&T, etc etc.    I think there needs to be some better way of doing this. Recycling phone numbers as fast as we do this day & age isn't working out very well. 🤷

I have no idea why I'm even on all of these call lists that are on Robo-Dial by A.I.  One is a female voice and the other is a male voice and all they did was change the name that they give you.  I did get put through to a few live people to try to ask them to remove me from their list, but they, the telemarketer, hung up on me.   It's like I'm living "Telemarketers Revenge" for all the years of people handing up on them.   I always spoke with the telemarketer and then wished them a good day before hanging up.  And this is what I get for all of my decades of kindness.  I don't think I deserve this, but the World has lost a lot of the niceties that it used to have when I was growing up.  And no...COVID did not cause this.  I'm also getting tired of that excuse.  Its been 6 years!  People felt they were given the Green Light to be anti-social and rude to your face and now it is part of society just like everything else Mainstream adopts and considers it a cultural add-on.   I just hope I can survive this onslaught of calls blowing up my phone until it dies down.  Else, I will place a block on my number and only allow calls from family, friends and medical associated with my job.

This is crazy.   I had to mute my phone because I am getting 50+ calls a day regarding Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Burial Benefits, a Senior Food Expense Card, a Senior Social Security monthly reimbursement benefit, etc., and I don't qualify for any of it.  I don't even meet the age requirement.   At current, I have 53 missed calls and 38 of them were from yesterday.
