Went and saw it last night. I have to say it's an awesome film! Every bit on the level of Godfather. But what was amazing to me is that in this age of action films Cronenberg made it all the way through a Russian Mob movie with out ever firing a single shot. His "mob hit" scenes are so much more personal and raw and.. well creepy when they hack each other to pieces with a hooked carpet knife.

Yes it was amazing... not a high body count, but the death that was in it was very full of eye contact.... and blood... Very powerful movie.... a lot of stuff under the surface... I love Cronenburg.... If only he were gay and about 30 years younger....
