U.s. Political Problem.

It is so Simple that it is retarded.

None of the politicians truly care about us.

Demapulicans are only interested in getting elected so they can stop Repulicrats from accomplishing anything.

Repulicrats are only interested in getting elected so they can stop Demapulicans from accomplishing anything.

Good example:

Congress has been under Demapulican for how long now? Have they passed a law yet? Put it like this, if you ask one then its reply will be "A law? Whats that? We are only here to make sure nobody gets anything done."

Now think of how much money they have wasted initiating over 600 investigations into Repulicrats with less than a 1.25% success rate.

Political cock blocking at it's finest!

It is time to elect "States Men" people. Get rid of the politicians.

I dunno about the "states men" thing, because I don't know what you mean by that.

But I agree with the rest 100%.

Sorry that should be Statesmen.

one who exercises political leadership wisely and without narrow partisanship.

"Statesmanship" is the practice of deliberately avoiding an opportunity for short-term partisan political gain in favour of a benefit for the nation as a whole.

We need to vote every incumbent out of office. Get the career politicians out and get some people in there willing do to what needs to be done.

We need political reform. The "floor" rules for the House and Senate need to be scrapped. Good ideas can't come from anyone who is not a long time member of congress because low seniority members are not allowed to talk or sit on committees.

We need 100 years of campaign finance laws repealed. The laws have been worked so that unless you belong to one of the major two partys, you have no chance of legally raising enough cash to run a campaign against them.

Before this discussion goes any further...

How much do people really, honestly think necessary reform/revamping is ever going to happen?

Sometimes I think discussions like this are incredibly moot, because things are just not going to change.

The movement gets stronger every day as the current corrupt bureaucracy alienates people at an exponential rate. Eventually, the people will rise to the problem and fix it... either by a mass voting out of the current set of assholes in the government or by well.. more violent means.

I seriously think that those, um, more violent means are going to be the only way that the American people will ever be able to take back the American government. And it will be a dark and violent storm when it comes.

...I hope I die quickly.

This is why, despite our differences in political/social thinking, I like you. :)

This is the sort of thing I agree 100% with.

We all want the same thing, methinks. I can handle any administration - whatever the party - that leads us to this.

Vote Gaf in '08!

I think this is the second time I've said that.

and it still makes me feel good. torn has said it a few times too.. If not for my checkered past and the crack-whore sister I have... I'd run... and that I don't have the millions of dollars it takes to do it.

We'll figure something out.

But I want a prominent place in your cabinet. I won't ask for VP, but, you know, something.

the interesting thing is, if you're upfront and honest about things, and don't try to hide them, most people will dismiss past history. if anything, a checkered past indicates reality, and a "man of the people" if you will. holier-than-thou types are a huge turn-off for a lot of people, and if someone were to come out & say "yeah, i did this, i went thru this, i/my family has had issues" people (at least the people i know) will genereally say, "wow, i appreciate that kind of honesty!" sure, it might turn off some, but when you consider that every other politician is doing their best to hide anything even remotely "negative" or "embarrassing", direct honesty, and owning up to one's past, are very attractive things. of course, this person would have to be ok with the fact that these negative things were out there, and common public knowledge...

i still say you should run - i'd vote for you! i will always vote 3rd party, until at least one fo them gets enough votes for federal funding, and can enter the debates & show the "stranglehold" politicians what's what!

Libertarians are the closest.

This is how I convince people to vote for them.

You are being handed a blue stinking pile of shit and a red one.

Now your being told to sniff them and pick the one that stinks the least.

Or if you are a supream idiot you automatically vote blue or red.

Then the next time around they hand you two pieces of shit that stink worse than the one you didn't vote for before.

Vote Libertarian you don't have to believe in them, hell you can even hate them, and yes we know they wont win, but they need less then 1000 votes more then the last time.

Then they will get federal funding and make the piles of shit slide back and ask them selves whats wrong.

They don't mind bipartisan debates but when they start seeing more and more multi partisan events, they will wash off the shit so they don't get flushed.

Republicans are McDonalds.

Democrats are Burger King.

No matter how you look at it they are just hamburgers.

Vote pizza!

P.S.

Kill idiots that complain about vote splitters, they don't have a political clue.
