Got a prescription for Flexerall today. Hopefully it works.

flexerall (for me) sucked... it was almost too strong a muscle relaxer or something - i tried to take it on schedule & ended up feeling like i couldn't breathe. take your time with it & pay attention to your body. it may work great for you, tho, and i hope it does!

WOAH no kidding. This stuff could tranq a horse! It works though... definately an "as needed" thing, not a daily like Dr. suggested.

Yep, flexerall taken in the right dose and at the right intervals is quite awesome at relieving pain. I am hoping the neurologist will prescribe it for my neck pain/tension headaches.

I take Flexerall for my back and neck. I had a really bad car accident in 2001 and still have issues from that.

Suzqz - Excedrin Tension Headache contains no asprin. I can't take it either. It only has acedomidiphin (Tylenol) and caffeine ... that's what I use if I can catch them before they start. I've been on all kinds of the migraine meds that are normally prescribed and surprisingly have found Naprosyn works best for me. Vicodin doesn't even help me.

They gave me Naprosyn when I hurt my ankle once, I had a migraine ... and ankle pain, so I took Naprosyn and it went away. I've been using it ever since when needed. I don't get migraines much anymore.

I broke my wrist in April and liked to have died ... I had Vicodin for my wrist pain. My head hurt, but so did my wrist. Naprosyn didn't help my wrist ... Vicodin didn't help my head ... and I couldn't take both, so I suffered with head pain.

My Doctor prescribed Topamax daily to prevent. Also, shots of Demerol helped in the past. Beyond the other meds already mentioned, dark, quiet and ice on the head.

Funny thing is, and believe me I am thankful beyond words... I haven't had a migraine since just before I saw my doc in late October. He gave me a free sample of a new med to try. I haven't had the need to try it yet! I've had regular headaches, sinus headaches and tension headaches, but not a full fledge migraine. Absolutely no complaints here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've even postponed seeing the neurologist, Dr. "Starbuck" until after I have another one. (no, Starbuck, is not his name, but it's close to it, so I see that as a sign he must be the doc for me!) :p

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!
