wouldu Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I really should have been in born in the 60's or 70's so I could enjoy the 80's I live to hear 80's music and now that I just purchased the 80's guitar hero encore for $90 I am falling in love all over again... I may be 21 but in my mind I am really 35 yrs. old.

SuZQZ Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Yes, there was something to be said for wearing spandex mini-dresses (black of course), 4" stiletos, big jewelry and having giant hair. I look back at photos of my friends and I and shudder with laughter.

I look back at photos of my friends and I and shudder with laughter. With me, it was a very Robert-Smith-like punked mullet, lots of Cyndi Lauper-inspired jewelry especially crazy earrings, temporary pink hair dye, homemade clothes made from bizarre prints, leggings, long shirts with belts, twistie-bead necklaces, face paint a-la Bowie, elf/ankle boots, full mini skirts, and LOTS of rubber bracelets.
SuZQZ Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Oh yes, the rubber bracelets. Forgot about those! Luv'd the elf/ankle boots. My hair was short except for the top and was shaved on the sides and down the back until the late 80's when I let it grow out. Then it was long and curly, but I never teased it "hair band" style like some of my friends did. Hung in my face even then! LOL
