LadyKay Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 This my seem like a strange question but is there a good store I can go to that sells goth music?. Right now my only means is buying online. But I want to be able to just go into a store and pick out what I want. So where should I go anyone know?
DJDeadbeat Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Encore Records in Ann Arbor is hands down the best. I have found lots of rare stuff such as The Very Things, Bolshoi, Theatre of Hate, Stiffs Inc, Christian Death, Blade Fetish, etc. Rock of Ages in Garden City is second best with old Cleopatra CDs in stock. I got some Corpus Delicti, Rosetta Stone, Ghosting, Mephisto Walz there. I also heard Record Time in Ferndale and has good stuff too.

CandyQuackenbush Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 When all else fails, Amazon.com Thats what I did when I was in Iraq. They have a good selection, but only if you don't want to leave your house.

I just bought some Poison Girls, and I think the last thing I got before that was Magazine and Nosferatu.
ManicQueen Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Also, Rock of Ages in Garden City has alot of old school and rare stuff too.
deadbydesire Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I don't know about goth music but I know that dearborn music usually gets the new electro albums when released. Thats where I usually go if I didn't preorder.

That's really funny that you just got Poison Girls; I attempted purchasing something by them reccently off of Amazon. The sites all "NO I DON'T THINK SO." I put the item on a wishlist. Amazon is where I've pretty much gotten all my music for the past six years. Good prices and good selection. Encore is nice if you've got the time to look around. I found a few Current 93 albums at Wazoo. :D

But I don't like the Poison Girls 40 dollars much. hehe. I hope you get yours! I have been splurging on Amazon. I need to get a job before I can continue! I got some more Magazine, Public Image Limited, Children on Stun, Sex Gang, Lost Cherrees, etc calling me. haha. Wazoo has good stuff. They have No New York there I know. And some Birthday Party if anyones interested.
