Henry Rollins At The Michigan Theater

Oh, man.

I don't know if a spoken word performance is what can be called a "concert", but for three hours, I had the wonderful, and life affirming experience to be in the same room as Henry Rollins. There is no comparison. Without cessation, I learned what Mr. Rollins had been doing for the last year. He is a singular experience.

Surely some others on here know his work? How many of you saw him?

I spoke with him at length in 1986. I have not ever seen his spoken word though I do own a few of the cds.

Had I known about this and had the $$, I would have gone.

I LOVE his spoken word. I catch his show on cable once in a while and am just enthralled.

He just makes so much sense.
