JaneDead Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 and I am in trouble <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that's just silly
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 Of course you are Phee, she's just waiting. Wish I had a dollar for ever time I heard " no, it's ok if you think she's pretty" :laughing
JaneDead Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 i've never cared if a guy i was with thought a girl was pretty. it is the way you go about expressing your thoughts about another women that should be tactful
JaneDead Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 for example- out one night with my husband (while we were still dating) and we were with another couple. this girl walks by and my husband says "nice cans" about another girl. the other couple we were with, the girl, was mortified by this. i just shook my head. see, no tact.
Brenda Starrr Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 i thought it was polar bears? she sure doesn't look hairy to me. Phee's true obsession. He cannot deny.....
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 it is the way you go about expressing your thoughts about another women that should be tactful <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So true ~ she said it best.
JaneDead Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 to me it is about respect. i think other people are attractive, but i never say who, and no one would never know who. that's just me. i don't show it in any way shape or form. so if i am with a guy and he were to drool over a girl he sees, that is just rude. when i am with you, be with me - not in your head with someone else and show it by how you act or what you say!
Brenda Starrr Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Wayne treats me as if I were the only woman in the room, even if there are hot women in the room with us. No one has ever done that with me. He's either really in love with me or he needs an eye exam.
JaneDead Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 yeah that was the last time my husband did something like that. i told him it makes him look like a pig to other women.
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 when i am with you, be with me - not in your head with someone else and show it by how you act or what you say! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And again. She's right.
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 Wayne treats me as if I were the only woman in the room, even if there are hot women in the room with us. No one has ever done that with me. He's either really in love with me or he needs an eye exam. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've done that for someone ~ I never got any damn credit for it. :doh
phee Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 I will give you credit... or at least sympathy... or empathy... I have definitly been there.
torn asunder Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 if one is secure in their relationship, they should have no trouble expressing appreciation for other attractive people, opposite, or even same sex. there are a lot of beautiful people in the world, and to deny, avoid, or ignore this seems silly to me. i have no problems with a woman thinking somebody else is good looking (in fact, i quite often agree with them, regarding either sex) jealousy and insecurity are very unattractive... just because someone else might be beautiful doesn't mean we want to hop in the sack with them... (although... :devil ) :laughing j/k! :whistling
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 There is nothing wrong with knowing that others are attractive. Unfortunately ~ some people can't control themselves and it often leads to activities that kill relationships.
phee Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Wow.... My fixation with Asia Argento has really inspired some deep conversation
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 I didn't think this thread would be taken this far. :laughing
soothsayer Posted April 9, 2005 Author Posted April 9, 2005 Phee's mind is right off track ~ where it should always be.
Scary Guy Posted April 11, 2005 Posted April 11, 2005 Question, was the thread title a play on words of "Rhea's Obsession"?
soothsayer Posted April 11, 2005 Author Posted April 11, 2005 Question, was the thread title a play on words of "Rhea's Obsession"? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry to show ignorance here but I'm not familar with "Rhea's Obsession". It was just a joke title because Phee kept mentioning this woman so hence the "obsession" part.
