crunchy_pickle (5) Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the conspiracy theories surrounding the income tax laws. Though, there are claims regarding a new world order regime, and the 16th amendment either never being ratified or ratified illegally, there are also many rebuttals to dispute these claims. Whatever the case, I think we should have more of a say on whether or not we pay taxes in certain instances.... I think that a grievance against government is a fine example. I think that if there is a serious grievance against government infringements upon our rights, that we as a people should be allowed to quit paying our taxes until these infringements are resolved. I urge all of you to consider this action since we do have a right to be heard, and this would be most effective. I plan on forming a legal petition, and could use your support. The future of our nation and descendants is in our hands. We cannot make this world a better place if we only bitch, and are unwilling to act.....
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 There is no framework in place to legally allow you to opt out of paying taxes. You would need to get an admendment to the Constitution get that to be legal. Personally, I think it would a bad thing to do. If some frame work waws created... it woul be abused to all hell. Our courts would be clogged with people trying to claim they did not have to pay taxes for a varity of reasons. Nothing would ever get done. No moenys would ever get collected and the government would collapse.
