Msterbeau Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Assholes. Sick fucking delusional fucktards. Those were the words I was looking for. Thanks.
Slept with ghost Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Something like this happened on Bill Marhs(sp) show recently too.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted October 26, 2007 Author Posted October 26, 2007 and Bill kicked thier ass.
saechalyn Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Nice. I miss Bill. He was far from perfect, but I liked him.
Head Wreck Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 he was charesmatic and were seing the best of him now he's out of office. he can be a little more honest now.
CandyQuackenbush Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Bill was the best in our generation.
Destroit Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 I actually was shocked (in a good way) when Clinton was so damn stern with the guy. Like the look on his face you could tell he was genuinely pissed off, and it's a look I've never really seen on the guy. I was like "wow...I guess he does have balls. Hmmm...so I was wrong, whatev."
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Um, no. Term limits and such.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 Except, we have a constitutional amendment limiting terms. In constitutional law, no amendmend trumps another. but going with your logic... how does that fall under free speech? You can vote for him if you like... he is just not allowed to hold office. I mean, you can say anything you want... no one is forced to listen.
phee Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Yes but an ammendment can eliminate another ammendment. If the people really wanted a third term for Clinton bad enough, the constitution can be ammended. I am not totally sure of it but didn't FDR hold office for 3 terms? He was pretty snazzy. That was before the limitation was put in place
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 That was WHY the limitation was put in place. As much as FDR was loved by damn near everyone... they realised what a mistake it is to elivate someone to royalty status. Personally, if it were up to me, there would also be a limit to imediatly family within a 10-20 year time frame... to keep dynastys from starting... such as the Bush/Clinton/Bush/maybe Clinton one we have.
