DJ Nocker Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 We all have our favorite bands/songs/albums. But does anyone continue to buy artist's that are attached to the same label? one of my favorite record labels is Epitaph records. (The Locust and Converge are on this label) what about you?
saechalyn Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I don't listen to as much darkwave as I used to, but Projekt has rarely let me down.
odims_sphere Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Back in the day Wax trax was cool, Third mind was really cool, before Metropolis gobbled everyone up.
livininxtcgoth Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 haha you know how i am about metropolis...

phee Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Fathom records has some creepy stuff.... Hmmm Nettwerk used to be the shite... But then they kind of went folk.... I will always have a soft spot for Earache Records, yay Godflesh...
DJDeadbeat Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 PROJEKT for their dedication for fans and good music Overground Records for their anarcho punk re-releases. Cherry Red/Anagram for their classic gothic punk and psycho and goth releases Strobelight records puts out decent modern goth Infrastition puts out good French coldwave/goth CDs Wax Trax = classic industrial rock
Marmee_Noir Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Give 'em the boot.. I'm a huge, HUGE fan of HellCat a off-shoot of Epitaph records.. HUGE fan.. Hence my jacket I made that I wear to most concerts. Which has some decent HellCat signatures..
DJ Saint Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Here's some favorites... 4ad Third Mind (Defunct) Nettwerk C'est la Morte (Defunct) Wax Trax (Defunct) Factory (Defunct) Zoth Ommog (Defunct) Out Of Line (Defunct) Celtic Circle Productions (and no it wasn't a celtic music label it was an electronic label) Off Beat (Defunct) Reconstriction (16 Volts first home now (Defunct) COLD MEAT INDUSTRY Ras DVA (Defunct) COP International Black Rain Noitekk Hyperium (Defunct) Industrial Strength Tatra (first home to Apop and Icon of Coil) Metropolis N5MD (actually released things on mini disc for a bit excellent label, great artist and graphics) Alfa-Matrix Inception (Defunct - the first label to give a23 a release) SubConscious Full-Effect (back in the day with good Final Cut and Substation) Ghostly International +8 Mute Platipus (most trance sucks but this label always puts out good stuff) Sistinas (WATCH THIS YOUNG LABEL!!!) Crunch Pod Out of Line Third Movement (harsh gabber label) Enzyme Records and many many more that I am forgetting as far as favorite - tough call... Narrowing it down... Hands Productions - for excellent artist and packaging. Plus label owner Udo is brilliant. Ant-Zen/Hymen - for breaking boundaries with it's artist and being a TRUE audio/visual arts label Ad Noiseum - (Scorn, Detritus, CDatakill, DJ Hidden and Drumcorps - never heard this label? check them out!!!) so I guess this week/month WINNER ProNoize - Banging hard industrial teknoize artist: Pierrepoint, Sona Eact®, Xebox, Pzycho Bitch, Xotox, Shnarph!, Control-System, NOISUF-X, Sliding Elements, FabrikC, AM Inc., Stahlfrequenz, SAM, Neuss http://www.myspace.com/130111845 and dont even get me started on Projekt Records....
Scary Guy Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I like the big three because they have fucking over artists down to a science. </sarcasm> Metropoplis used to be cool, now they can die in a fire. Mostly I like any label that gives me free shit for being a DJ. Also any label that doesn't do it over the internet to reduce production costs (unless they actually use WAV or FLAC format so there is no audio loss... more than there already is). I REALLY like them if they send me vinyl.

Projekt services DJs, as does Strobelight, Hungry Eyes, GSL, etc.
