this time of year New Orleans is great.. the weather is perfect.. so my wish would be to be there, sitting on a balcony overlooking Jackson Square <good people watching location>, sipping Chartreuse, and waiting for the night to unfold.. there is always excitment to look foreward to there.. yep.. that would be a good start..

Sounds beautiful. A friend of mine almost had me talked into moving to New Orleans at one point, ended up not working out. We used to read a lot about various cities New Orleans is one of the few places i've read a ton about, but never ended up going. (I used to travel a lot) Your descrption reminds me of an Ann Rice novel....
