What happened to us?

What happened to trust?

Why do we fight

never see the light…

The light to positive ways.

I guess relationships

can go astray.

What happened today?

Today you have no compassion.

Our time is paused from "action."

Why do you feel alone?

Can I help, "is there anyone home?"

What will happen tomorrow?

Going on with or without sorrow?

Why do we keep the fight?

From that we may never see the light.

Thanks. I wrote this one awhile ago. It was when a good friend and I fell apart and didn't talk for 3 years. When we finially reconciled, we turned out to being closer than before...

I posted this poem b/c I was feeling this way about someone else now --- but things I guess are going back to good; I'm optimistic at times
