Hellion Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Since alot of serious issues at work are not being taken care of.let alone safety and air quality seem to be the most serious.also the owners have been tapping into the 401-k plans to pay the company bills and their luxury toy bills, for the last several months I have has really bad sinus problems, and breathing difficulties,I basically have no choice but to better myself and start looking again, since I have been getting calls about this one place that only hires through temp services, then hires in 90 days I may have to check into it.and what I have found out they are hiring like mad.Yeah I was going to go somewhere where I am at right now,but that all went to shit, yeah I am still employed, but the threat of my paycheck, and others bouncing is really making me nervious.I am hoping to be out of there by the end of the year, unless I get some nasty industrial desease from the place(being sarcastic)no job period is worth sacrificing my heath over.other than that I hope I end up working here... http://www.ceratizit.com/usa_ENG_HTML.htm Having worked there for over a year and a half with not one pay increase is BS,IMO.whats cool is this other job offer is located in Warren which is alot closer to home,Ceratizit here I come,LOL!!!
Destroit Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Good luck, I hope everything works out. If your job was treating you like shit like you say they were, and your health was also being compromised because of the working environment, leaving was definately the best move.
creatureofthenyte Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 best time to find a new job, is when yer still at yer current one. Good luck Crank
Fierce Critter Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Good luck, Crank. Moving on to a new job really has worked out great for Jon. Whatever you do, DO NO apply at Detroit Door & Hardware. They're doing the same thing to their employees that is being done to you at your current place - and worse. Their gas cards kept getting shut off, and Jon never was reimbursed for the money he took out of his own wallet to gas up his workvan.
