HH - there's a somewhat newish lingerie/sex toy store on Dix in Lincoln Park or Southgate (just north of Northline) called Adam & Eve. They have a HUGE selection of lingerie, but more importantly, the largest selection of Demonia/Pleaser shoes I've seen in a store in the Detroit Metro area. They have a lot of the high-heel styles, with and without buckles, etc. A great opportunity to try on before buying.

I can go to Salvation army and get a whole outfit for 20 bucks and be ecstatic over it.

But I spend 100 bucks on a pair of boots or shoes.

My footwear costs more than my whole outfit 3x over!

yes well, i don't even have the money to shop at good will! We are broke as hell!

BUT, I have a whole selection of stuff I'd wear if I had the funds on one of my DGN albums... but anyways... i have a nice wal-mart brand boot, that I scuffed at Candy's party, the day I got them! cost me like $20, and look awesome with jeans of any color... they are kinda piratey, but have that extra outer material that make them look like super high boots that have been scrunched down.. i hate that, so i pull it smooth, then fold the extra up under the decorative cuff like flapp at the top of the boot... so yeah...

I used to have a ton of shoes, like 60 pairs of black shoes alone, when I was in high school. Now a days I only have maybe 15 pairs, and only about 6 pairs I wear more than once a year, including club shoes. I won't buy shoes anymore unless they are really comfortable. I guess I've just gotten too practical

Ten years ago I wore a size 8 on my ring finger and a size 6 on my pinkie. Now I wear a 5.5 on my ring finger, and I can't even find rings small enough for my pinkie. My hands getting smaller was independent of my weight loss/gain, too.

When I was pregnant, my feet swelled up HUGE and I couldn't wear any of shoes, and I was TERRIFIED that my feet wouldn't go back to normal size and I would have to get rid of ALL of my shoes.

And Guy was like 'Wow, that would be a loss of what, like forty bucks?'

Now, I KNOW I only get my shoes when they're like buy one get seven free, but I do LOVE each and every pair of them, and when I lose a pair and then find it again, it's like reconnecting with an old good friend.

I only have ONE pair of shoes....no I take that back two. One is a pair of $20 black Payless boots and the other a pair of dress-up shoes for special occasions. Never really was big on owing a whole lot of shoes.

I'd like a pair of combat boots for the club and hiking. That's it, though. A type of shoe for each purpose, and a BIT of redundancy for hiking cause it's rough on shoes. How many more can you need?
