Amazingly high-quality stuff for very reasonable prices. I would really appreciate it, if any of you good peoples happen to run across anyplace that carries Iman makeup & skin care stuff in the Detroit area, please let me know! NO ONE carries it around here. There is a store locator on the Iman website, but it lists 2 places around here that I know for a fact no longer carry it. Most of the listings in the Metro are for Walgreens, Meijer & WalMart, I think there's a Target or two in there also.

Ulta? never heard of it, where are they? Gonna be down there tomorrow & would love to pick up some moisturizer & powder!

I could have sworn I saw it at Wal-Mart. Not sure if they still carry it.

Also I see it on Walgreens.com so maybe check with them if you don't want to buy it from online.

Cool. The Farmington location is near my brother's house so maybe he can pick me some up (when he gets back from his trip to China). I make a huge effort not to shop at Walmart but will be near a Walgreens today so hopefully they'll have what I want. Walgreens was indeed on the store locator list... but as stated, they had 2 Meijer stores on that list that I know for a fact no longer carry the Iman line so I don't entirely trust the list, not enough to go any distance out of my way anyway. Of course an intelligent person would just CALL THE FUCKING STORES... but nah, that'd be too easy.

Thanks for the tips!

I have NEVER seen it in any other store besides Ulta. It's in NO way a drugstore brand. Fashion Fair should be, though. It's total shit.

No, it isn't... the quality of Iman is light years beyond drugstore brands. I was surprised to find it at Meijer, and not surprised when they stopped carrying it because they obviously had no idea how to market it. Didn't get to stop at any Walgreens when I was in town yesterday so I was spared the indignity of seeing Iman stuff next to Milani and Black Radiance. My mom told me about a shop down in the Cass Corridor that carries it but didn't get a chance to go there... maybe when I come down for Candy's party!

Never been impressed by Fashion Fair. Overpriced status label, that's all.

BTW Brenda, there was something on the Iman site about them looking for makeup artists, didn't bother to get the details but might be something you'd want to check out!

Nah. I worked with it when I worked for Ulta. But, I sorta got tired of the clientele telling me that I don't know how to work with it because I'm a white chick. Like I'm colorblind or something!! Besides, I have a pretty sweet job now. But, thanks for thinking of me!
