Who doesn't love Joy Division?

Do you also like A Certain Ratio? Very good Factory records band. Imagine Joy Division on funk.

I am waiting for Control to be released on DVD now...I missed seeing it.=/

Mmmmmmmmhmmmmmm Love Joy Division...

And yeah I can't wait for Control to come out on DVD also.. If you are really desperate though on youtube some girl has the movie loaded and it's pretty good quality but it's broken into like 17 parts..

Saying do you like Joy Division is like saying do you like air??

Not that I'm biased at all.

Not that my name came from a JD song or anything

In the meantime, you guys can all pop in your worn copy of 24 Hour Party People and watch that.

Oh yes, oh yes. I am the winner.

I still haven't seen the Grant Gee documentary, though, so don't hate me all the way.

Thanks for reminding me about this. I've been away and totally forgot this was out.

I have to go scour the web for it.

Absolutely love it, thanks

I have been wondering about Control, and asking around. I guess I should have asked on here, duh. I need to go find it and get it now.

Ok, being released Feb. 11, available to preorder at Amazon UK. That was easy to find, but where are you guys seeing it now?

Lulu saw it in theater in Ann Arbor I think.

Lucky cunt. ;[

Yes, this lucky cunt saw it back in October. But your best bet now is the DVD. I'm waiting to see if the rumors of a double release with the Joy Division documentary by Grant Gee (which Deborah Curtis loved; I guess she hated Control) are true.

I agree with Slaugh, but I have heard Love Will Tear Us Apart at both City Club and Necto but not at The Ritz. Tara has the poster for Love Will Tear Us Apart in her room.

I loved Joy Division from when I was alittle girl. My uncle used to be a DJ at Shores' Skate Land, and he would play all fun 80's music for me.

He even used to play their music when they where Warsaw. I think it's kinda funny that they would get into so much trouble for their name, and some states/countries where very paranoid about them playing once they where Joy Division.

I mean yes, New Order is great, but it's just not the same without Ian's voice.
