I was thinking the same thing.. I lived there for four years.. SO Dutch Reformed that it wasn't even funny. The first question I was asked when I first went to school there was "what church do you go to?" I was very thrown off by it. Especially since I went to college looking to find more open minded people, and different points of view/walks of life, but I really didn't get that there. I knew I should have gone to UofM, but I couldn't deny the scholarship that I received from them. So, I tried to get as much out of my experience as possible.
