Drugs For The Mind, Spirit And Thearpy

Do you believe someone cna use drugs not for the high but to expand ones mind and or spiritual or thearpy reasons?

I do, to a certian point for example I take mdma(ecstasy) not for the roll but because I like to expand my mind and creative thinking for my music while on it. It does open up a lot of doors if you use the drug correctly and know how to expand your mind. And I use opiates for thearpy reasons. Since i cannot take normal pain killers, I use opiates(not willign to say what one) for pain.

I was born with Marfan Syndrome and I'm in pain 24/7. The syndrome affects my entire body, weight, height, eyesight, bones, soft tissue decay, connective tissue decay, blood vessels and etc.

Now to some this makes me an addict but in my eyes I'm not. I don't fiend for things and don't act like a drug addict. Would you see me as one?

And do you believe one can use drugs for these reasons?

Yes I think its ok to use, not abuse, drugs for spiritual or medical purposes.......

Its hard to know when to draw the line is all......

We almost NEED a society to tell us when we fuck up and are getting carried away.....if your out on your own how do you know your getting carried away?

Since so many are addictive.

Native americans used stuff (natural) for shamanic purposes....they also kicked out of the tribe anyone who got out of line and nutty with the stuff.

the problem with what yrou doing is that in time you find your creativity stifled if you cant get a bump.

which means its no longer you in control, especially of yrou art - and thats a tragedy.

Ive never seen anybody use for ling term, and not become touched.

Everyone I know who used drugs for mind enhacement ended up regretting it.

I'm just saying.

In what way is the Marfan syndrome causing you pain? My husband has done some research on it - somewhat indirectly since his reseearch is on aortic aneurysms - but, I know he knows alot about it and knows alot of experts in the field. You shouldn't have much pain from the Marfan syndrome. Is it your joints that are giving you trouble? Your feet?
