There isn't any actual sturdiness in them, I don't think I could get into them. If it goes beyond the ankle area it either needs be very feminine or fight worthy tough. But that's just my opinion.

I've got a pair of the Demonia canvas boots, I like them, they're comfortable, and alot easier to get into than my regular boots...

i don't have a pair but i know someone who does and i agree- they are so comfy and warm. i admit, if someone GAVE me a pair, i'd wear them. i'd never BUY a pair though.

as for the pics above i could only view the top one- and yeah, not my thing. but they are better than those damn "sneaker heels" whatever the hell those were.

i was fixing my hair in the bathroom at occ and my friend was on the toilet. She had spent like 200 dollars on them and i was telling her that she was dumb for spending so much money on boots that were so plain. I also told her that they aren't all that cute. I said too many chicks wear them and think they are as hot as stilettos when they are not sexy at all. Then three other chicks came out of the stalls and you know what they were wearing? Uggz! My friend loves her Ugggz but i just don't get the obbssesion over them.

Ok. I love the Demonia ones. But only in the black.

When I was 17 in 1985, I started wearing really odd shoes like that. It's what set me on the road of new wave clothing & fashion. So I have a soft spot in my heart for some unusual shoes.

The thing is, though, my tastes haven't changed, but the way I like to put together outfits has. I'm more into sexy now, so I generally opt for things like my Demonia platforms, or my chunky-high-heel knee-hi boots, or witchy shoes, etc.

I have about 15 pairs of Converse ranging from basic black to hot pink with rhinestones. But I don't wear them anymore because they don't fit the fashion I prefer to dress in these days.

I didn't like the first pair. I'm generally a Chucks purist, and besides the extra-hi ones, I don't like it when some non-Converse company takes the general design of a Chuck and morphs it into something ghastly.

The 2nd pair is something I would have worn in the 80's. But not now.

But I think I'll eventually buy a pair of the third ones.
