Does anyone know where I could find a cheap screen for a Compaq laptop? Or maybe where I can just buy a cheap shell and put my hard drive in it?

My friend gave me her laptop but I have to have it hooked up to a desktop monitor because her daughter stepped on it and crushed the screen. Other than that it works fine.

Anyone know anything about this kind of stuff?

Flip the thing over and give me the exact model number.

They are not cheap but you may find one on ebay for a lot less. I have gotten them for as little as $75
