ttogreh Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Well, let's just look at the whole sequence of events that would make it likely for me to be in a survival situation where hunting and killing an ape in the wild. I would have to be transferred to a part of the world where apes live. I would have to be unemployable; all jobs be it poo shoveling, garbage collecting, septic tank cleaning, or any other job would be completely unavailable. There would have to be a famine. For some reason, the apes in the area would not be affected by this famine. It is so unlikely, as to be almost impossible. So, if I were starving on the streets of greater Detroit, and I found a dead ape, sure. I would eat it. I would not fly to africa to kill an ape, however.

ttogreh Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 No, I am trying to be specific. If I survived a plane crash high up in the mountains, and while searching through the wreckage, came upon an ape corpse, I would eat it. I have accepted your premise. Candy's open-ended suggestion, "if I were starving"... I live in MICHIGAN. I have to assume that I would be starving... in MICHIGAN.
