In real life? I had a dream, that was just waay to close to reality.......and it made me realize I usually feel THAT scared and alone in life.

My mother in law said my dead father in law used to dream she was cheating (she NEVER would!!) and wake up mad at her! It was kinda cute though......they were so close.

Yep, I've had that kind of nightmare. I dreamt that my daughter was killed. I can't remember how exactly, but it was while at her dad's. I woke up at 2 am, sobbing and so upset. I was so shaken that I couldn't go back to sleep. That one really messed me up for a couple of days.

I had the dead kid dream too. That is one of the worst.

I've had a few like that.. just a couple nights ago I woke up from one and couldn't go back to sleep.

My son had fallen on on some object that pierced his heart.. wasn't cool.

I have a lot of horrible dreams that involve my kids and sometimes my ex and they always end in death for some reason.

I have them all the time.

My worst nightmares involve either someone I love getting killed or my wife leaving me.

I get them quite often. They either involve someone I care about getting murdered, or some super crazy scenario involving his ex.

I had one last night that was really weird..... this psycho was 'auditioning' people to become serial killers..... very, very odd. I kept running away instead of fighting back, and he was getting pissed off.

I get the P.T.S.D dreams of the first tour.

When I do actually dream, they are never end nice.

I remember all the people I went to Iraq with, but I can't talk to them. I can see them, touch their shoulders, but all I do is see them in the mourge. I see how the damage from the war, attacks their bodies, and then they are just this withered bag of bones.

When these dreams come, they wake me out of a dead sleep. I scream alittle, or I twitch until I'm up. Then I am soaked in my own sweat.

I just want them to stop.

I've had the PTSD dreams for a while too after I first came back. They did stop after time... I have an ex fiance to think for that... while with her something about her just let me heal inside.. unfortunately things didn't go so well after that... now I just sometimes wake up in cold sweats not sure what the hell i dremped about.

My recurring childhood nightmare I rarely ever get anymore but is disturbing --

I am trapped in my house with a burglar trying to get me.

Oddly enough I take a medication for my schizo-effective disorder called zyprexa it prevents you from dreaming. I haven't had a dream in 5 years swear. Its bizaare. Its not that I dont remember them I dont have them, but if i dont take the medication I'll hear voices in my head and its uncomfortable. Smoking marijuana does it too so I don't smoke pot anymore actually I don't do any drugs anymore but what my doctor prescribes me for vicodin withdrawls. I don't drink either I will try to socially but I had an alcohol problem for the months of October, November, and December. A pint of vodka a day. I quit in january on the 10th. Its been 13 days and I'm doing good. I promised Tara I would have a couple tomorrow for our sleepover but thats only cuz she asked me to just have a few shots with her so I agreed. I do pretty much anything she asks as long as its not harmful to myself. I'm good to her. I buy her roses too.

Almost every night I get awful, horrible dreams.

i would dream that people would die, and then people would die (usually that night or within 2 days of the dream). it has not happened to me in a long time (thankfully)

it would never be the actual person in my dream that would die in real life, it would be someone else. for example one time i dreamt my dad's girlfriend died, and that night his roommate died. another time i dreamt my grandparent died and my friend's grandparent died. stuff like that.

when i was little i used to dream my parents and family would die ALL the time (back then, no one actually died when i dreamt this) buti would wake up sobbing and not being able to breath because it felt so damn real. :( i hate nightmares. i am so glad i don't normally have them.

i knew a little girl that had night terrors. i could not imagine living like that.

I have bad Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and sometimes I jump awake cause someone has shot.......or stabbed me or something.....

Anyone who has slept with me knows what I am talking about. I jerk the whole bed.

My dad is usually in those dreams and I am running from him.......

What I hate is the kind where, ya wake up.....get out of bed......watch tv.......read.....whatever......

And you go back to bed and it STARTS WHERE IT LEFT OFF like frickn movie.

Those are nights I give up on sleep........If I am exhausted enough I don't dream as much anyway.

And I am NOT taking sleep pills like they want me to. Fuck that. I have real low blood presure and sometimes when I sleep my heart starts beating funny cause it gets too low already.

I was crying in a dream once and when I woke up I was crying for real.

Kid dying.

And, forgetting a kid somewhere.

It's when I get those that I got to check on them and only then can I get back to sleep.

Dreams are just weird.

I knew someone that would have the same dream over and over again every night about losing her daughter in a department store and looking everywhere and finally seeing her on the elevator just as the doors were closing. She would wake up at that exact moment. She had these dreams until she finally dreamt until she knew what had happened to her daughter.

I had a dream once where I saw my step-father get killed in a car accident. I told him to be careful and he just kinda chuckled and said its okay it was just a dream. Well, the next day he was working on a boat and he was walking down the stairs to get to the lower level and there was a nail sticking out of the wood and it stabbed him right in the bridge of the nose. The doctor told him that if it would have been millimeters higher that it would have killed him. That was just too creepy.

I knew someone that dreamt that her daughters bunk beds fell. The top on the bottom one, crushing the daughter on the bottom bunk. She woke up and told the girls to sleep on the couch. The next morning, much to her dismay and relief the bunk beds HAD fallen.

I used to have night terrors when I was a baby. My mom said that they were horrible and very scary. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that I have such bad nightmares now? It would something interesting to look into.
