Jarodaka Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 Article here. The ink on the documents -- some written by Sophocles, Euripides, and Hesiod -- was so faded it wasn't until adapting infrared imaging used by satellites that they could be read.
Lilith Posted April 18, 2005 Posted April 18, 2005 I wish they would post copies of the original works some place, i hate reading what other people wrote when it is rewritten by some one else. I understand the need for translation in all but from what I gather so many original works has been compromised by another rewriting it to suit there own needs. I guess what I am saying is great they can now read all of this but what good is it really going to do us.... I feel if they find out anything wonderful they will just hide it or twist it some how... Imagine if they found out Euripides was a gay donkey humper ya think they would let us know about it? nooooooooooo :blink lilith
