Role Reversal

Everyone seems very good at bashing the political figures/parties we don't agree with or downright dislike.

I'd like to see people either critique the people they usually support or compliment the other "team".

I'll start:

I really want to like Obama, but he sounds a lot more like a regular politician then he used to. That worries me.

On the other side... I appreciate that Mike Huckabee advocates for a healthy lifestyle, after losing over 100 lbs himself.

I dont know enough about the candidates to really post anything intelligible in this thread. I really need to beef up on my knowledge so that I will be able to vote in the big election.

Romney is intriguing.

That's all I got for now.

Hillary Clinton is a great communist.

Hillary is very good at playing the part of the damsel in distress when she needs to.

Obama is damn good at talking without actually saying anything.

McCain is prolly the best at pretending to be something he is not.

Edit your post man, you're supposed to bash the home team.

ME-

Obama gets too nervous in debates, and needs to shut up sometimes instead of being snarky at Hillary.

Both qualities come off as un-presiedential and cause voters to lose confidence.

That's one of the factors that made him lose NH, and what helped sink Gore in 2000.

Ummm, McCain won't completely piss all over the constitution when he gets elected in November.

I like that in a candidate.

Huckabee's a big rock and roll fan.

Here's an excerpt from Rolling Stone--

Keith Richards and Ron Wood got pulled over for reckless driving while on tour in Fordyce, Arkansas, a million and a half years ago, in 1975.

Richards ended up getting a misdemeanor conviction — an injustice that stood for thirty-one years, until Huckabee, a would-be rock musician himself, stepped in and pardoned Richards last year.

"It's a long process, pardoning," Huckabee said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"It takes a lot of paperwork.

And the funny thing is, people said to me afterwards, 'Governor, you'll do that for Keith Richards, but you wouldn't do that for an ordinary person.'

And my answer to that is always, 'Hey, if you can play guitar like Keith Richards, I'll consider pardoning you, too.'?"

Great answer :bravo

(I'm tempted to criticize Romney to take away Critter's intrigue, but I'll bite my tongue)

As an undecided... they are all my home team. I'm not at all happy with any of my choices.

Romney has a nice smile and Huckabee comes across as truly believing the things he says and that it's not just being said for votes.
