But that was just the coolest thing when the movie came out. I can't tell you how many times I heard "you can see the bullet hit him"

I've seen real people get shot with real bullets, you don't see the bullet, and the body doesn't fly backward as if pulled by a cable, it pretty much just falls limp like a dish rag. (except for the exploding head if its a .50 cal)
