Ferret damages motel room

MOUNT CLEMENS - An employee at the Quality Inn, located at 1 N. River, called police at 2 p.m. Jan. 18 after he noticed that a customer had been keeping four ferrets in the room - and they had caused considerable damage.

Police observed a strong odor of rotten food and animal urine, and there were feces all over the bathroom, where it appeared the animals had lived.

The suspect was removed from the hotel with his animals.

Awww poor little dudes...they so should have took him from the guy. Even that is sad though, the guy is obviously alone and very poor, those ferrets are probably the only thing he really has. :(

I don't know that I'd call it nice, but with my Choice employee discount, those whirlpool rooms are a steal.
