Homicidalheathen Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 One, Jerusalem sign of the end of times? Two, China The end is coming... California snow This year in the mountains Snow near LA from 2 yrs ago I personally don't think its a sign of the end of the times, but I guess some people do. Probably the topic of conversation in Churches today all over the country.
Dollardave Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I like am amazed that it snowed in Jerusalem.
jadnifer Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 That is some crazy snowfall, but I dont think that it is the sign of the end of times.
Hellion Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I have yet to see snow hit the equator, and if it does, there is something wrong bigtime with the climate.
jadnifer Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I have yet to see snow hit the equator, and if it does, there is something wrong bigtime with the climate. Then I think that would definitely be a cause for concern
Troy Spiral (13) Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 The specific events above as far as i can tell (even from their own descriptions if you go check it out) are just various more-than-usual coldsnaps/snowfall. Not even particularly unusual from a historical perspective, just unusual in very recent history (on the order of decades not centuries) No big deal there. But more broadly there is a fairly clear scientific (if not political) consensus that we are having and headed for more global climate change in general, not the end of the world, but definitely headed for far different weather than in hundreds of generations prior.
