H.R. 1955: Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007

If this passes into law it would allow federal intimidation towards free-speech:

H.R. 1955 really does a great job of complimenting all of this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Comm...ons_Act_of_2006

It's obvious that the principles this country was founded on are going down the drain like the polluted water supplied to troops by Halliburton.

Anyways here's some highly recommended documentaries, since if H.R. 1955 passes, they might become illegal.

Iraq For Sale by Robert Greenwald

Terrorstorm by Alex Jones

The Corporation (3 hrs) written by Joel Bakan, and co-directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott.

H.R. 1955 quotes in it's defense:

`(8) Any measure taken to prevent violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence and homegrown terrorism in the United States should not violate the constitutional rights, civil rights, or civil liberties of United States citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Luckily, The Military Commissions Act of 2006 takes care of that quickly.

The subject that obviously concerns me is "ideologically based violence."

`(4) IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs.

All action, including violence, has to be based on ideas. No stress, no double-speak. So sticking with the word violence:

The term `violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs.

Ah, now it makes sense, under this law the *federal definition* of violence is an action, or any idea perceived as a violent plan or threat. In accordance with other legislation passed because of the war and historical accounts in recent overseas prisons, this law potentially threatens detainment, torture, and death to U.S. citizens by federal law and the department of homeland security. If I'm reading it wrong then I have no idea what a commission to study "ideologically based violence" would be formed for, since it seems likely they'd be studying bullshit. :turned:

Lol. Well if everyone who was guilty of something would just go quail hunting with Cheney this whole mess might get sorted out, then Cheney could get arrested and the necromancer that raised Cheney from the dead could become the president for the remainder of 2008. (I kid.)

fuck yeah!!!! That's what I'm talking about.

Yeah. From that documentary on Iraq and Halliburton, it seems like the best way to support United States troops would be to let them be jurors in the eventual trials for anyone who was a profiteering criminal in the war on terror.

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!

Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.
