I think Edwards has positioned himself to be asked as the VP. I don't see Clinton being interested, and in fact I think it'd be a liability to Obama to have her on the ticket.

If I knew what Obama was going to do... what his platform was... the little detail I have ever read or heard sounds like Hillary's platform only not as forced... like... He doesn't agree with garnishing wages to pay for Universal Healthcare like Hillary has proposed. and the Social programs he wants add over 800Billion to the budget. Which is still light compared to what Hillary wants.

I like McCain... except that with him I don't know if we would ever get our troops out of Iraq... but other then that.... I do like him

I think it's a good possibility.

I think the dream of your average middle-road democrat would be for either of them to win and the other be the VP. But its very unlikely at least according to the big-wigs that I've heard talk about it. I've heard this exact subject come up several times on the various political-talk shows, they almost all say theres not much chance.

Although u never know what goes on in the behind the scenes smoke-filled room. Anything could change.

They cant sling too much mud in this situation or they could fuck themselves badly since there is a massive potential for voters to change their minds from one to the other. If one or the other gets to deep into the muck-raking pool they could screw themselves out of their already "in the bag" votes.

But, both Bill and Hillary are known for playing hardcore hardball when they feel the chips are down, they could just say fuck it and go for broke and really start slinging the mud. If that happens theres pretty much zero chance of the fairytale Obama-Hillary or Hillary-Obama ticket.
