TygerLili Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 My cat, as most cats I've ever met, hates riding in the car. Whenever I take her somewhere in her carrier she screams bloody murder until we get there. Well, I had to go out of town until Tuesday, and I brought her with me this afternoon. The first hour of the trip she cried and cried as usual. Then, the second hour, I put in a goth/industrial music CD a friend burned for me, and she all but completely shut up. She seemed especially mesmerized by Assemblage 23 and Wolfsheim. When I switched back to radio she started crying again. I just found it funny. Especially since I almost never have music playing at home, so it's not like she's used to it.
n0Mad Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Heh heh ... that's awesome! Not only does your cat have great taste for genre, but Assemblage 23 and Wolfsheim are a couple of my faves. The other day someone I know posted a YouTube video of Talking Heads, "Once in a Lifetime" and she pasted all the lyrics afterwards. I replied with, "And here I thought you meant this:" and posted a YouTube video of Wolfsheim, "Once in a Lifetime" with all the lyrics afterwards. Both are great songs.
Onyx Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 She seemed especially mesmerized by Assemblage 23 and Wolfsheim. When I switched back to radio she started crying again. Yep, kitty has good taste! If you turned off Assemblage 23 and Wolfsheim and switched to the radio, I'd cry too! heh heh
Homicidalheathen Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 That is too funny! You got the untimate goth kitty
TygerLili Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 Yep, kitty has good taste! If you turned off Assemblage 23 and Wolfsheim and switched to the radio, I'd cry too! heh heh Yeah, unfortunately I only had the one CD from that genre in the car, and I didn't want to listen to the same 9 songs again. I need an i-Pod!
GOREgeouslyDecorated Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 haha - that's awesome - I'll have to try that with my cats when I have to take them to VA
Morbid Side Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 My daughter knows good music when she hears it.
