hunhee Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 "So How Long Was It?, ...before you said "this is my bf/gf" instead of friend?" About seven inches. Er, wait ... What was the question? Here is my number.. hehe Seriously though, it all depends on the situation, and I think you just have to buck up and ask them. Where are we going? If they can't answer or if they don't know, respect that, sometimes they just don't know. It's better than just sitting around wondering or questioning. EDIT: I believe that all relationships are on a person by person basis, and you just have to ask when you feel it feels right. If you want something serious with this person, yes, you should be afraid to ask, but hopefully they will come up with the right answer.
torn asunder Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Anyway, I kind of have to agree w/Eternal in that random personal anecdotes prolly aren't gonna help much. i disagree - when i'm trying to make a decision, personal anecdotes are exactly what i'm looking for. what's your story, how dod you react to it? that gives me new insight and perspective, and maybe even made something click in my head that i'd have otherwise not thought of...
xbittergracex Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 Thanks for all the advice guys. I pretty much gathered that its all circumstantial. A sort of follow-your-instinct. So thats what I'm going to do. We sort of talked about it the other night....and I don't think he's like REALLY ready for it to be a relationship, but it is what he wants too....so it'll happen...when its supposed to and timing is right Thanks again guys
jadnifer Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I am glad that you were able to talk with him about it. I was friends with my boyfriend for four months before we considered it a relationship. In my own personal experience, if you jump into a relationship too fast, you find things out about that person that you find hard to deal with, but also hard to leave if you want because you are already emotionally involved. I hope that all goes well for you both!
