By that i mean the most actively controversial: For instance "separation(or unification) of church and state / constitutional reconstruction-ism" probably my "favorite" one right now is NOT particularly actively controversial on a large scale.

Iraq

Illegal Immigration

Fuel Prices

Jobs

Global Warming(?)

Universal Health Care(?)

Abortion(?)

The Economy (This one seems to broad, not really one specific issue, would have to break down into sub-issues.)

"Active" interpreted as an amalgamation All people (worldwide), US Citizens in general, and Michigan Residents even more particularly. With a bias toward the more local.
