Medvedev: Putin Puppet?

Despite some evidence to the contrary, it's clear that Putin will retain a significant amount of influence over Medvedev's decision's.

Well, we shall see what power does to Medvedev, won't we? I am sure that Putin will be a large figure for the next year or so, but if Medvedev chooses to be his own man...

Of course... will Putin let that happen? And if he does not want it to happen... can he actually do anything about it?
