While I like the idea of proactive solutions to community problems, this device is treating the symptom, but not curing the disease. These homeless people are just that, people. As a society, we should look to ways to reduce the number of disenfranchised souls roaming the mean streets of Atlanta and every other American city. Robocop is cool, but simply put, all it is doing is pushing the problem into a different area.

Of course, on the other hand, anything that reminds us of our homeless isn't all bad...

The drug dealers wouldn't be there, if not for the homeless people. Perhaps the homeless people wouldn't be there if not for the drug dealers. It's a chicken and egg thing, I think...
