Oh, for pete's sake.

When are they going to stop re-making this and start working on adapting the damned rest of the series?

I guess if they're shooting for doing that, they'll want to start with the first. But damnit, follow it up QUICKLY with the rest - a la Harry Potter.

I'll agree there.

I know I liked the first two.

I have a very, very bad memory for books I've read. Like, pathologically bad. So I can't remember anything about the books past the 2nd one, nor even if I read them.

I probably read at least one more. And I think he started losing me quickly.

Maybe, however, this could be a rare, rare, rare instance when the film would improve upon the books?

I can't wait. I love the movies, so much easier to digest, the first book is so slow, the second slower, and I understand they become exponentially slower as they progress. They don't let MOVIES do that any more...
