Are never full blown alcoholics?

People who drink everyday seem very depressed and miserable to me.

I've known a few alcoholics and they usually start off happy when they take their first few drinks and then they get angry as the night progresses. I think this also depends on what liquor you are drinking as well. The only reason I can come up with as the more that you drink, the clearer some memories become and then you become highly defensive, irate or melancholic. If I really think about it, the only alcoholics that I know who get really upset and or violent are men. The women usually get very inebriated and then talk about bad past experiences, cry and then pass out. Of course, I am only talking about people that I personally know.

Damn... I didn't even answer the question... lol. Actually, I have never really noticed that happy drunks are never full-blown alcoholics. There is such a thing as a happy alcoholic I am sure, it's a wide range of behaviors and attitudes. I can see what you are saying though, it has an appearance of "it's all good".. but I am not so sure it is a constant.

I have several friends that are full blown alcoholics, and pretty much all of them are happy drunks.

thats why I don't drink everyday...only every other day...LOL j/k...I drink everyday
