I don't know of anybody with kittens, but I've adopted several gorgeous sweet kittens and cats over the years from the humane society.

My sympathies. I have 9 cats right now and wish they'd all just live forever.

Last time i lost a pet i sort of swore off getting any new pets due to it just being to much for me.

Not sure i have any leads for you , directly in terms of finding a new kitty.

I used to have a cat that was a perpetunal kitten factory but shes gone now. :erm The various humane societies around town have tons of pets all the time though.

A guy down the street has 5 kittens for free. He had two that look very much like your Muddy - one male, one female. Too bad I'm 700 miles away. :(

(And no, we didn't bring one home. Still holding at 9. )

You can be sure I didn't mourn his passing when the old guy kicked the bucket. The neighbor was one of those jackasses that would sit out in his yard and shoot any animal that moved with his BB gun...cats, dogs, squirels, birds..etc.

I'm sorry about your baby. Spring/summer is kitten season though, so I'm sure you won't have much trouble finding a new baby. You might even think about adopting 2 from the same litter...

sorry bout your loss :( i remember when i had to leave my kitties with my x i cried for days and days. i got another kitty tho eventually and she gets all my lovin now.
