Bummed As Hell

So my half black Lab/half pitbull has heartworms. The vet said that we caught it early, and he'll recover. I'm even more upset that this happened when I'm stuck down here in GA and won't be back until late Friday night.

My wife rescued that dog for me before I came back from Iraq. First dog I could call my own. Fuck, I hope he turns out OK.

Aww I hope you're puppy recovers! If they caught it early you're lucky and he should be fine with meds. Always get your pets updated on shots and vaccinations. And neuter/spay them, they'll live a longer, healthier life.

Aw, I am sorry. Praying your pooch is ok. I have exactly the same breed. Our doggies rule. Such wonderful personalities.....pit mixes are the shit. I used to fear pits ( i was attacked ) but it is all in the owners.
