Because dogs don't do this with a laser pointer.

Lazerrrrrrrrrrrr

My parents dog chases the laser light all the time, and it's amusing and fun to watch. <u My favorite pet was my rabbit that I had as a teenager.

My dogs do. All three of them. Especially the big one. The oldest Chihuahua will get territorial and push the other two away from it growling as if to claim it as his own.

They also do that with a MagLite. :)

Yeah, he even chases glares off CD cases. He's quite OCD over it.

My ex-roommates had ferrets and it was AWFUL. They pooed everywhere, smelled horrible and dug up the furniture. Not to mention the constant noise.

I guess it all depends on who has them and how they train them, Clem my little furry is awesome, she has an accident now and then, but for the most part is good about using her poo-box, knows when she scratches it to the cage (which is rare) and she is just loving, and gentle and an all around amazing animal.

But as for the subject at hand, FERRETS!! all the way. I love my furry child. She is awesome.
