Is this a thread were we can ask for the things we need? I want $ 250,000 in small unmarked bills to be delivered to the mail box on Wayne Rd near Ford at 3pm by next Tuesday. That is all.

Ok, well I asked Jess since he used to work for Staples and he said that the USB videogame control pad you could find there, but as for the videocard try tiger direct online and as for the usb or firewire DVD drive, he said that will be a task since that's a laptop (an older one) and he doesn't think the external ones may be compatible for it and that you would have to look into adleast 700Mhz if you did come across one.. Helpful??

Try pricewatch

very useful for finding practically anything computer related.

Except the video card...

You're better off just getting a new laptop at that point.

Anything you want is going to be proprietary and cost more than a normal video card would.

actually as I understand it I have a geforce 2 card with 32mb and I just need to get the same card that is 64mb, and apparently the card is pretty common and easy to find. Is that right or do I got it wrong?

This depends on the model laptop you have. Most are not upgradable since they are directly on the motherboard to save space. So replacing that might require you to get a whole new motherboard for it.

Some things they do make easilly upgradable however since most people want the option to get better componants down the line. Like I said look up the specs on your laptop (or give me the model number and I'll do it).

Desktop systems are super easy to upgrade. They've made it (almost) idiot proof and I could teach a 5 year old how to do it.
