Have you ever tried using cat whiskers for small details? They work GREAT. I use them when I paint models and other small things.

I haven't thought of that. Thanks! LordOfSins has most of my figurines, but I painted a really cool berserker chick once, and I put a mini hand print on her leg. It was pretty bad ass.
