well this is what i heard from people who love right next door to it... some body put it in a fish tank and it broke and got everywhere.... and this girl had it on her body.... and if that got in are water lines that could ....and that wood be bad.... every one in the apartments every floor was boreded up and everything in bags.... it was freaky

Mercury is nothing to sneeze at. I have been exposed 3+ times and my doctor thinks it may have contributed to my divers, colitis and nerve and joint disorders.

My pool thermometer broke. 3 times...we didn't notice and were swimming in it...our old immunizations had it in them....when I was little I ate some wall paper paste that had it in it....pesticides and weed killers used to have it in them....I drank well water and my dad used chemicals on the lawn...ect...ect...

My mom used to use mecuricrome on our cuts as a kid because they didn't know any better back then.

Do NOT use this stuff. It has trace amounts of mercury...and thats all it takes

Mecurochrome is not sold in USA anymore as it contains mercury which is a poison. Iodine does not have mercury in it but it destroys the tissues and prevents healing, so it is not recommended on cuts either.

I know exactly what it is, I am taking chemistry at the moment. Beware, chemical pneumonia sucks ass.

Crank do they have you do this on a regular basis? If so do they provide resporaters for you?? and the people you work with??? Any kind of protection beyond what you would have on a normal day?

Long time exposer can lead to chronic beryllium disease. If they don't provide you (and other workers) with proper protection its aganist the law.

I would hate to see you sick =( .

Just a little FYI, CFLs, the cork screw light bulbs, they have mercury in them. Be very careful when installing, them, and if one ever breaks, ventilate the area with a box fan or something.
