Lab - Wed (same building as city club)

City Club - Fri & Saturday

Ok I think that we have narrowed the only evening that we have free is on Thursday - we are there for about a week, but with family gatherings and whatnot it only leaves about 1 night to see what detroit has to offer. I would have prefered a friday or sat, but that didnt work this time

Anyone have a suggestion of what to do on a Thursday, would be nice if it was a place the DGN frequents as well.

I cannot wait, we have just about 6 days before we are heading up there. I am hoping that we might get to stop by cc on sat the 5th. WHat times does the club close? If we end up not making it we are going to go out on that following thursday.. we are still looking for somewhere to go though.

My boyfriend and I were in your area a couple years ago. We really wanted to check out one of the clubs around there, but we were staying with his family who thought it was more important for us to sit around the house every night. If we ever go back I am SO renting a car and staying in a hotel.

I just read the post again and saw this, most likely it was the The Church at the Lizard Lounge. ITs been going for over a decade. I started going around 94ish. Its a good club with good people( Thurs/Sundays). The only problem is sometimes the friday and sat crowd deciede to go there which is normaly 16-19 year olds, not sure how the 16 years old get in but they end up rolling or something and it doesnt make as enjoyable. This isnt the case all the time but during holiday weekends its more frequent. Ive been going to a new place at CLub One called Lord Byron's Panoptkon . Byron is a really great guy and really strives to throw a quality night. The people are always great, very interesting people watching, cheap drinks and dont forget the wonderful music spun by Byron and Angry John. They only do a one off weekly at CLub One on Friday nights. Starts at 9, most dont start showing up til 10 or 1030 and it goes til 4am.

Quick update. We have been in Canton the last two nights, We are going up to Windsor for the morning. The to Belleview(sp) for the night and I am not sure what part of town the next few. I am really wanting to hit somewhere on thrusday night. I hope that is a good night when people are out and about. I cannot belive its so cool the last few days, When I left Dallas it was 104 degrees. I had to put on a hoody the other morning when I went out to grab a redbull.!!

It wouldn't be til 12 tonight I will be in ann arbor til then. And I'm staying in westland tonight and up to kalamezoo? And ludingto tommarrow. Geez I thought the 9 days would be enough
